Everything we got from the bakery was excellent. And the owner was working when we stopped by and she was very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely love this place! I've been several times and have had nothing but friendly service and yummy baked goods. The scones are fluffy, cookies perfect ..... you have to get there early because the sell out fast.
Unique persimmon pudding which is best when paired with a pumpkin scone.

"Bakery" assumes one would smell tantalizing aroma's upon entering. Not so at Gnaw Bone Bakery. Very disappointed. "Bakery" case had 4-5 trays with a few cookies. We purchased the sorghum molasses, which was very good and cinnamon pinwheels, which we ended up throwing away. (my grandkids wouldn't even eat them). Also purchased Pumpkin Nut Bread and Butter Rolls. Both were very dry and the Butter Rolls had absolutely NO taste. While the pumpkin bread did have some taste, it also was very dry. Products from local artisans were sparse, so our hopes in finding a new favorite stop while visiting Nashville were dashed. Hopefully, they will improve over time.
