Oh and our server took out order, checked on us once, and then we waited for the check til the point my youngest was acting up. I had to take the children and leave my husband at the table to continue waiting for the check.

The atmosphere was nice and it was decorated well. We had a party of 9 and the service was excellent. The quality of food was mixed among our party. 2 people ordered the salmon and felt it was fishy. The New York Strip tasted burnt, but it wasn't. The Prime Rib was not very warm, but the lasagna was very good. Everyone was happy with dessert. We ordered the Apple Crisp, New York Cheesecake, and Texas Sheet Cake.

We consistently experience very good food and friendly servers in a warm and quaint atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and competitive for the downtown Nashville area. This is one of our top five places to dine when visit the area about three times a year. You should be pleased with this family friendly restaurant.

Food is usually good. Good service. In the summer ask to be seated outside. In cool months, ask to be seated by the fireplace. Clean, and enjoyable place to take friends or family. Prices are very reasonable, and you don't feel rushed.

If you can't have grains/gluten, dairy, or sugar....Go somewhere else. I could only order a salad with no cheese or croutons, which resulted in a poor mix of lettuces and no other vegetables as their menu said it had (and horribly overpriced for such a sad salad). I told our server I just needed meat and a vegetable, she pointed me to their marinated chicken breast and after a few questions I learned it had sugar. So poor lettuce salad for me.

We stopped in for Sunday breakfast. They had a wonderful breakfast bar. They had scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal with everything you need to dress it up, french toast, fried cinnamon and sugar biscuits, bacon, donuts and coffee cake, fresh berries and coffee and or orange juice was included for a very reasonable price. Service was amazing and they were very attentive and kept the breakfast bar clean and fully stocked. Such a great place. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Nashville Indiana!

My husband had a French onion soup and salad and he said his soup was good. My two young children had sandwiches from the kids menu and I wasn't impressed. I would have been better off getting them two waters and splitting an adult meal between them. The hamburger for the kids burger itself looked like those thin frozen burgers McDonald's sells, but cost more.
